We’re looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team and lead the charge in delivering extraordinary interior design solutions.

The Senior Interior Designer will be a key player in our design team, overseeing projects from initial concept through to final execution. This role demands a deep understanding of construction documentation, detailed furnishing solutions, and an ability to manage and deliver complex projects with precision. Your expertise will drive design excellence and ensure that every project reflects our high standards of quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Lead the development of interior design concepts, integrating space planning, materials, finishes, and furnishings. Create design solutions that align with client needs and project requirements.
• Construction Drawings: Produce detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, cabinetry and construction details. Ensure accuracy and adherence to building codes and industry standards.
• Furnishing Expertise: Curate and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that enhance the design while meeting functional and aesthetic goals. Develop detailed FF&E schedules and oversee procurement and installation.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Communicate design concepts and progress, address client feedback, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction and furnishing work meets design specifications and quality standards. Resolve any issues that arise during implementation.
• Team Collaboration: Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
• Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and furnishings. Integrate new ideas and best practices into your design work to keep projects fresh and forward-thinking.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in interior design, with substantial experience in creating construction drawings and expertise in selecting and specifying furnishings.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is preferred.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong ability to create detailed construction documentation and FF&E specifications.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing completed projects with an emphasis on construction drawings, furnishing solutions, and high-quality design execution.
