We are looking for an experienced individual to manage the service department of our swimming pool company. Daily tasks include:

Efficiently scheduling daily service calls for 2 full-time service trucks. This includes scheduling routes in which jobs are near each other, being able to accurately estimate how many hours each job will take, and learning the individual strengths of each crew to ensure the most efficient team is selected for each job.

Taking/returning phone calls and providing quotes for service related repairs.

Ordering and picking up supplies for upcoming service calls.

Measuring and ordering inground pool liners and safety covers.

Performing solo repairs that need immediate attention when service schedule is already full. Must be able to troubleshoot and install all pool equipment, perform pool plumbing and electrical repairs, clean pools and troubleshoot chemistry issues.

Create invoices in QuickBooks and check in payments.

Job is approximately 80% inside, 20% outside. When inside, you will be required to jump onto the floor during busy times and assist retail customers, check customers out at the register, and test pool water. Must also be able to assist retail customers in technical pool repair related questions. Will be required to perform indoor bench services repairing pumps, filters, cleaners. Must be able to efficiently use computers and parts diagrams to search and quote custom order parts for customers.

Requirements:

Must have a valid PA driver's license. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in pool repairs and scheduling/management. In order to earn the top pay, you must immediately know how, without training, to open and close pools, measure, order, and install inground liners and safety covers, repair and replace pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators, clean pools, replace pool lights, balance chemicals, troubleshoot salt generators, perform pool plumbing and electrical, pressure test pool lines and scuba dive for leaks. Must be reliable - on time every day and 3 or less days off per pool season. Must be willing to work 6 days a week during pool season. Must have a high attention to detail, double check work, make very few mistakes. Must have a positive attitude, we have a great team where everyone gets along and enjoys working with each other.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
