Description
- Outpatient LPN 5x8 Days
- This position would work alongside our Medical Assistants and Physicians to treat patients in an office setting as well as some phone nurse coverage. We are looking for a 40 hour/week contract. Monday through Thursday 8:00am 5:00pm and Friday's for 4 hours.

- Patient Diagnoses:
- Community Clinic experience preferred
- Knowledge of administration - vaccines and injections. Vaccine schedules
- Average outpatient census 30 patients/per provider (usually one nurse per provider)
- Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- Lesion removals
- Administration of vaccines and injections
- Transmission of maintenance medications
- Pre-seeing patients - chief complaint
- review medication and allergies
- Update PMSH
- Vitals
- Vision and Hearing screening
- Urine dip
- Blood glucose
- Neb treatments
- Various forms
- triage phone calls
- faxes
- Transportation of patients to outpatient services
- Certifications:
- BCLS
- 8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
- 10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
- Comments: Travel/Crisis:
- 36 hours for 3 12-hour shifts
- 48 hours for 4 12-hour shifts
- 40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours
- Overtime Rule
- Default Rule: 40.00 total hours in a 1 week: 1.50%
- OT after 48 for 48 hour schedules
- All RN: Scrubs can be any color, no obscene images/words or camo; Shoes: no holes, must cover toes.
