Position Objective:

Artivion Inc. is seeking a highly motivated tax professional to join our tax accounting and reporting team at our fast-growing, multinational public company. Duties will include supporting preparation of domestic federal and state income tax returns and assisting with the global tax provision under ASC 740. You will also build and maintain relationships with Controllers in our international businesses and assist them with their tax needs. This job involves collaboration with various teams across the company and requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills. The tax senior will work closely with the tax manager and director, as well as finance and accounting professionals

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of US Federal and State income tax returns and estimated tax payments, with all supporting schedules, using OneSource Tax Compliance software
• Assist with the preparation of worldwide ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions, using OneSource Tax Provision software
• Assist with internal tax research projects, including federal, state, and international income tax matters
• Compile US and International cash tax projections for company’s budgeting process
• Prepare income and sales tax reserves on a quarterly basis
• Develop relationships with international controllers and assist with other quarterly and annual tax needs
• Assist with monitoring global compliance and maintenance of worldwide filing tracker
• Assist with the compliance with company policies, federal tax report requirements, and SOX 404
• Assist with the tracking and resolving of domestic income tax notices
• Assist with quarterly and annual worldwide provision process
• Assist with maintaining SOX 404 control documentation
• Responsible for preparing quarterly estimates and annual income tax returns
• Assist with other tax projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in tax
• Excellent organizational skills; proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting, highly motivated, and a self-starter
• Strong analytical, technical, written, and oral communication skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite products
• CPA/Master’s degree preferred
• Big Four Accounting and/or Corporate Tax experience preferred
• International tax experience is a plus
• Knowledge of OneSource Tax provision/compliance software is a plus
• Good time management skills

This is a hybrid position based out of our corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, GA.
