We are looking for Security Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization’s security infrastructure. This role involves protecting our systems and data from threats, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Experience in information security, with a focus on designing and implementing security controls.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP, and endpoint security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Microservices that strengthen defenses against attacks. Examine HTTP request/response logs and share expertise with tech teams to identify hardening possibilities and the underlying causes.
- Familiarity with SRE principles and practices, including service level objectives (SLOs), error budgeting, and blameless postmortems.
- To determine the risk and security posture of the applications in pre-prod and prod environments, carry out vulnerability assessments of the applications using both automated and human methodologies.
- Oversee, coordinate, and transfer incident response tasks, including communication, containment, remediation, root cause investigation, and triage.
- Evaluate, rank, and prioritize security findings from logs and alerts that are being watched for unusual or suspicious activity, such as bot traffic.
- Examine the architecture, settings, and design of the application.
- Automate security processes and tasks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Design and implement SRE solutions to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the health and availability of systems and applications.
