We are looking for a Senior Java Developer - POS and Payment Systems who will have extensive experience in Java development and a deep understanding of POS systems and payment processing. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with POS systems and payment processing.
- Proficiency in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Previous experience in product-based companies is required; past experience at Apple is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security standards and best practices for POS systems.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
