We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who will be responsible for leading and executing testing efforts across various projects, ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, and automation tools, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby for test automation.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Experience with 5G and 4G testing is required.
- End-to-end stationary and field testing of devices (including smartphones) to validate the basic functionality of the devices on MNO and T-Mobile/AT&T MVNO networks.
- Validating automation test scripts on Keysight & Rhode and Schwarz systems.
- Utilizing internal automation scripts for regression and sanity testing on smartphones and fixed-wireless devices.
- Collecting screenshots, video recordings, and device logs according to the guidelines in the test plan document and/or under supervision.
- Creating and managing Jira defects for issues found during testing.
- Entering the captured test plan results in the Zephyr Scale for each executed test plan.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that software meets quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimize testing processes and improve overall efficiency.
