Seeking a creative artist to lead art classes for both children and adults. Must have a positive attitude, experience in mixed-media, abstract art, and clay, as well as reliable transportation and eligibility to work with children. Background checks will be required. Classes will take place in multiple schools for students aged 3-11. Bilingual preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Teach Art Classes: Lead engaging and educational art classes for students of various age groups, ranging from 3 to 11 years old

2. Curriculum Development: Create and adapt art curricula that cater to the diverse needs and interests of both children and adults, focusing on mixed-media, abstract art, and clay projects.

3. Provide Instruction: Offer clear and constructive guidance, demonstrations, and feedback to help students develop their artistic skills and creativity.

4. Maintain a Positive Atmosphere: Foster a welcoming and encouraging environment that motivates students to explore their artistic abilities and express themselves freely.

5. Manage Art Supplies: Organize and manage art materials, ensuring they are readily available and well-maintained for classes.

6. Safety and Discipline: Ensure a safe and disciplined classroom, implementing appropriate behavior management strategies when needed.

7. Adaptability: Be flexible in adapting teaching methods to accommodate the unique learning styles and abilities of students.

8. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff to address any concerns or questions.

9. Transportation: Use your reliable transportation to move between schools where classes are held.

10. Compliance: Comply with all regulations related to working with children, including background checks and other necessary clearances.
