Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.Incumbent can be located within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).Summary:
SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Mortgage Servicing Operations Supervisor, the Mortgage Servicing Loan Boarding Representative is accountable for auditing mortgage loans and documents for compliance and accuracy. The incumbent is responsible for setting to active all loan types, auditing/setting up escrow accounts and ensuring that collateral is protected. The Mortgage Servicing Loan Boarding Representative will work with other Servicing Operations areas to resolve audit findings and/or document issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform verification audits on data and documents for each loan that is brought into Servicing Director.
  • Audit and input all escrow information, which includes, but is not limited to: PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance), Insurance (hazard, wind, flood), optional insurance (disability, life), and taxes (county, city, mud, school, etc.).
  • Perform trial escrow analysis to ensure initial escrow balance or escrow balance transferred is accurate.Verify monthly escrow payment is setup correctly in Servicing Director.
  • Verify any loan in a SFHA (Special Flood Hazard Area) has flood insurance as required. Input flood certificate information, as well as, reissue LOL (life of loan) when required on loan.
  • Process daily import/export events for the purpose of bringing closed loans over from Encompass to Servicing Director, requesting tax contracts from our third party service provider, as well as, submitting files for re-underwriting for non-bifurcated and new seller loans via Adiftech as required.
  • Perform research and follow-up on outstanding audit findings. Report findings to sellers, investors, and other areas of servicing and/or operations as required.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • 6 months of office experience preferred.
  • Mortgage lending or mortgage servicing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking, escrow, lending and accounting procedures preferred.
