Global Key Account Manager – HPC (Home Personal Care)

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of global sales and PC margin for assigned direct key accounts. In this role you will develop a deep understanding of the key customers and their current /future requirements and translate this into tangible projects. You will successfully drive new business opportunities and define actions for their delivery (communicate through SFDC). The Key Account Manager collaborates closely with all organization functions (Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Regulatory and other support functions) to achieve targets. Additionally ensures a filled opportunity pipeline and brings projects from initiation to successful commercialization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Delivery of global sales and PC margin for the assigned direct key accounts.
  • Negotiates contracts, pricing proposals and growth incentive plans.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the key customers and their current/future requirements and translates this into tangible projects. Drive new business opportunities and define actions for their delivery (communicate through SFDC).
  • Accountable for all assigned customers’ related R&D and commercial projects.
  • Builds relationship at all levels with the customers to ensure a regular information flow with all key stakeholders.
  • Forecasts and demand planning for the assigned direct accounts.
  • Maximize the profitability of sales through thorough implementation of selling prices, MOC, MOV and PC2. Optimization cash flow through management payment terms and over dues.
  • Develops on an on-going basis, market intelligence required to gain competitive information as well as identify new applications for existing products in order to gain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or Business.
  • Technical experience is a must in preservatives, etc.
  • 10 plus years’ experience in Home Personal Care sales (HPC).
  • English speaking and Spanish speaking a plus, (bilingual).
  • Global management of complex large MNC’s. d
  • Strong sales and business development skills.
  • Travel 30% -50% based on home base location. Some international travel expected – 10%
