As One Management is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Harrisburg, PA

Job Overview: Provide technical support and resolution for IT related issues via remote control, telephone, and desk-side support. Manage SLAs via ticketing system, contribute to technical knowledge base, and work with department managers to support projects and operational needs.

Reports to: As One Administrator, Director of Operations

IT Specialist Essential Tasks:

  • Provide timely, courteous, and efficient customer service to internal and external users via telephone, remote control, and desk-side support.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing IT needs within the company including improvements around efficiency and expenses.
  • Track work in Incident Management software and contribute to technical knowledge base and documentation
  • Coordinate with existing IT providers to streamline support processes.
  • Maintain IT support processes as per company compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Management of Google Workspace including setting up email accounts, managing accounts.
  • Assisting in managing software owned/operated by company on company assists.
  • Perform installation of new desktops/laptops, including upgrades or installations of software in existing environments.
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage cloud solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Be present for all brand required computer refresh cycles for flawless execution.
  • Comply with standards of service established by IT to ensure quality customer service.
  • Be available to work outside the established schedule as needed to meet critical deadlines or high guest/revenue impact situations.
  • Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Set up and manage a centralized help desk to ensure employees know where to seek support.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure quick recovery from IT disruptions.
  • Establish backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and systems.
  • Conduct regular tests and drills to ensure preparedness for potential disasters.
  • Maintain records of all company owned software and hardware including warranty records, purchasing dates per asset, recommended life cycle changes and manage risk of damage through routine maintenance checks.
  • Ensure all IT practices comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT policies, procedures, and infrastructure.
  • Track and manage all IT assets, including hardware and software.
  • Implement an asset lifecycle management system to optimize the use and replacement of IT assets.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory and compliance with asset policies
  • Actively participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Practice safe work habits.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance to company mission and values.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

  • Associate’s degree, A Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years professional IT experience
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting networks, systems, and software issues via remote control and telephone.
  • Self-directed with superior customer service skills
  • Able to prioritize and resolve issues based on severity and necessity
  • Able to expertly manage and prioritize multiple technical issues and manage projects simultaneously.
  • Hospitality/Retail PMS/POS system experience preferred
  • Hospitality/Retail Technologies experience preferred
  • Collaborative Problem Solver

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working all shifts, holidays and weekends.
  • Requires sitting for extended periods of time, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, manual dexterity, kneel or crouch.
