Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk Position:
- Process invoices for accounts payable, prepare checks for weekly check run
- Process accounts receivable, make calls to customers with past due accounts weekly
- Answer phones and direct customer inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Cross-train and act as back-up for sales tax filings
- Prepare general ledger entries
- Reconcile credit card payments
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum one year of experience in Accounts Payable for manufacturing
- Basic excel skills; knowledge of SYSPRO is a major plus!
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline- and detail-oriented
