Asali Desserts And Cafe in Cary, NC is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to join our 35 person strong team. We are located on 107 Edinburgh Drive S, Suite 106 A. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.
Our Supervisor responsibilities include ordering kitchen supplies and utensils based on our needs, managing payroll and supervising cafe staff performance. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with cafe/restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
- Prepare shift schedules
- Make payroll adjustments for missed punches for all staff
- Supervise front of the house and provide assistance, as needed
- Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues
- Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings, uniforms distribution and policy review)
- Monitor compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our service and menu offerings
