Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes is looking for a Full-Time Funeral Director. The Beinhauer family serves five communities in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA – Beinhauer-Connell in Bethel Park, Beinhauer-Bogan in Canonsburg, Beinhauer-Fryer in Bridgeville, and Beinhauers in Dormont and Peters Township.

Wages: $47,840- $56,160 (Depending on experience)

You are not responsible for removals unless on call and then only for in-home removals. There are no sales responsibilities which allows for a consistent wage every pay period. We include an allowance for appropriate work attire and have a company car that is available for use to travel to our multiple locations, all of which are within a 10-mile radius. We also have office staff to support you with all of the documentation required. Key Responsibilities:

As aFuneral Director/Embalmerat Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes you will be responsible for providing compassionate support, guidance, and direction to grieving families during their difficult times. Your duties will include:

1. Arranging Funerals:Collaborate with families to plan and organize funeral services, ensuring their wishes are met.
2. Embalming and Preparation:Skillfully embalm and prepare deceased individuals for viewing and burial.
3. Conducting Services:Lead funeral ceremonies, memorial services, and graveside committals with empathy and professionalism.
4. Documentation:Complete necessary paperwork, including death certificates, permits, and other legal documents.
5. Customer Service:Provide exceptional service to families, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering support.
6. Cremations: Overseeing the entire cremation process, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer:You must hold a valid funeral director and embalmer license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Certification: Certified in cremation preferred but employer willing to help obtain certification.
• Valid Driver's License
• Associate Degree in Mortuary Science
• Compassionate:Show empathy and understanding to grieving families.
• Organized:Handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Professional:Represent the funeral home with dignity and respect.
