Ascend Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Puyallup, WA

If you are self-motivated and eager to find a longterm job working with incredible dentists, look no further! Our office is searching for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team! The ideal candidateis team and detail oriented with an ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and kind manner. Experience with Dentrix Ascend is helpful but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is full time 4 days a week from 9:00 am- 6:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday, and 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Friday.

We are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant who is currently cable of all or most of the following skills, or who could demonstrate steps toward competency in a reasonable timeframe:

  • General Restorative Dentistry (fillings, crowns, etc)
  • Extractions
  • Child prophys
  • Sealants
  • Night Guard Impressions
  • Safety Protocols and Infection Control Maintenance

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Update and maintain patient's dental records
  • Assist the dentist with dental procedures
  • Take X-rays
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene

Requirements:

  • Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Washington
  • Demonstrated understanding of dental methods and techniques
  • Certification to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
  • X-Ray Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
