Shipping And Receiving Clerk Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Receive, inspect, and process all packages receipts.
• Pull orders to be shipped timely and accurately.
• Perform incoming inspections.
• Prepare and maintain shipping/receiving documents.
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork.
• Track receipts on items in Excel receiving log.
• Oversee, organize, maintain, and control warehouse inventory.
• Request purchase orders for supplies.
• Ensure shipping packages are loaded and received by carriers.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Troubleshoot errors and make appropriate corrective actions.
• Communicate with departments and prioritize based on feedback and reports provided.
• Perform quality checks.
• Complete appropriate documentation.
• Cross-train and back-up for the Packaging area.
• Perform daily cycle count.
• Pull materials and deliver to designated departments.
• Data entry transactions

Shipping And Receiving Clerk Shift Info

• Day Shift, 07:00 am to 04:30 pm
• Monday - Friday

Shipping And Receiving Clerk Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Basic ERP/WMS systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Shipping And Receiving Clerk experience preferred
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to work in the US.
