Job Title: Kubernetes Engineer

Responsibilities:

• including networking, security, and service management. Preference for experiences with Azure AKS and VMWare TAS.
• Deep understanding of microservices design patterns, service discovery mechanisms, API gateways, and distributed tracing.
• Expertise in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, monitor service mesh performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of zero-trust security principles, authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g. SSO, SAML, OAuth2.0), load balancers, firewalls, DMZ, and encryption technologies and related best practices for service mesh integration.
• Understanding of SRE principles and experience applying them to service mesh environments for reliability and performance optimization.
• Must have expertise in Unix shell scripting and at least one more other common scripting/automation languages/environments like JavaScript, Perl, Ansible, etc.
• Deep Experience in Java or .NET microservices and necessary skills in refactoring pipelines to 12 Factor methodologies

Location: Remote

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $80,000 - $115,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
