We are looking for an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney with specialized knowledge in Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling employment-related disputes, particularly those involving PAGA claims.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters, with a focus on PAGA claims. This includes drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, attending hearings, and representing clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Stay updated on changes in employment law, especially related to PAGA, and provide guidance to clients and colleagues on compliance issues and potential risks.
• Advise clients on best practices for compliance with employment laws and regulations, including PAGA requirements, and assist in developing strategies to minimize litigation risks.
• Develop effective case strategies for PAGA litigation matters, considering the unique circumstances of each case and the goals of the client.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on litigation and PAGA cases.
• Prior experience representing employers or employees in PAGA litigation matters.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling PAGA claims, including a strong understanding of relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
