About the Role:

Job Title: Java Software engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Golang and Java.
• Develop and deploy applications using AWS infrastructure.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks is a plus.

Location : Philadelphia, PA/ Wilmington, DE/ Richmond, VA

Salary Range : The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
