About the Role:

Position: Network Security Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Summary:

The purpose of this team is a cybersecurity team that does threat intelligence and defense engineering. They run the Security & Information Event Management (SIEM) platform that encompasses network security monitoring, detection analytics with enrichment, and threat intelligence services. Our goal is to provide real-time threat visibility, early detection, and rapid response capabilities to safeguard the network, infrastructure, and services. They need to increase the amount of telemetry they are getting from the networks.

Role/Responsibilities:

Review and approve the modification of existing databases and database management systems.

• Instruct staff to write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system.

• Direct database development and approve project scope and limitations.

• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.

• Approve, schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems.

• Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.

Top Skills:

• Minimum 8 years experience with Network Security Experience
• Minimum 8 years experience with Cyber Security Operations
• Minimum 8 years experience with C#, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Python with Synapse, AzureDevOps.

Salary Range: $145,000 - 157,000 Annually Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
