About the Role:
Title: Quality Control Engineer
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aerospace industry or experience in medical devices and electrical systems.
Conduct inspections in accordance with specifications.
Verify completion of assigned tasks and adherence to work instructions.
Review drawings and assess physical conditions.
Perform line inspections, including incoming inspections and inspection of parts to specifications.
Generate non-conforming reports, detailing failures and measurements as required.
Assign each part a conformity ticket, ensuring correct identification numbers and traceability to raw materials.
Collaborate with Inventory/Shipping teams to address any missed parts.
Capture and report relevant metrics.
Maintain or execute the calibration program by submitting tickets to suppliers.
Enter data from tools into various systems.
Weekly reporting of metrics in team meetings.
Utilize IPC certifications (20% of the time).
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for investigating failures.
Industry experience, preferably in aerospace.
Demonstrate ownership of goals and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience identifying Root Cause in failures.
Strong written/communication skillset.
IPC 620 standard certification.
Location: Redmond, WA 98108
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $80k-86k annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
