Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and manage tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of tax engagements for clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, and trust) prepared by staff members, providing guidance and feedback as necessary.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to resolve client issues and support tax planning strategies.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients on tax matters, maintaining strong relationships and addressing inquiries effectively.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities to foster their growth.
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates and implications to clients and team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
• Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research.
• Experience managing and supervising tax engagements and staff.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
