Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Cobol/Mainframe)
Job Description:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be a key member of our Global Liquidity team, working within the Microservices/Legacy Modernization groups.
Your role will involve acting as a liaison between various tech teams and the legacy mainframe team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate cross-functional interactions, working closely with both upstream and downstream partners.
Translate business requirements into functional requirements, creating user stories and epics.
Participate in scrum meetings, contributing to our Agile development process.
Navigate DB2 to access data sets, check programs, and implement simple logic.
Assist in the transition from a mainframe to a microservices platform, utilizing microservices and APIs.
Use SQL to query databases, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
Experience in a financial setting, ideally with exposure to liquidity processing.
Strong knowledge of mainframe systems (COBOL) and microservices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the creation of user stories and epics.
Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments.

This individual is NOT required to have hands-on development experience, but if they do, then that's a HUGE plus.
Location: Remote
Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $80,000 – $85,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
