Our role is an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Lead that will be remote however must be to be in NJ office 2-4 days a month. The ideal candidate will have 4 years as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or direct Lead.This role looks for someone with full match/batch/coding experience and full knowledge of working with purchase orders.

• Accounts Payable Lead responsible for managing high-volume invoice processing efficiently and accurately.
• Supervise a team of Accounts Payable specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.
• Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable operations, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, approval, and payment processing, while adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, address payment inquiries, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Develop and implement process improvements to streamline accounts payable procedures, enhance productivity, and minimize errors in a high-volume environment.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Generate reports and provide analysis on accounts payable metrics, such as invoice aging, payment accuracy, and vendor performance, to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, and IT, to optimize systems and workflows related to accounts payable processes.
• Stay current with industry best practices, technology advancements, and regulatory changes affecting accounts payable operations, and recommend adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
