What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Portfolio Manager position at Ascendo Resources?
Seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager for our client, an SEC registered investment advisor.
This role will support Portfolio Managers in their service of our ultra-high net worth and institutional clients, and have a strong foundation in investment concepts
Your role:
- Develop and implement investment plans for client portfolios
- Work with the PM, Operations team and external counterparties to develop and monitor execution of trades and monitor PM’s trade pipeline
- Support PM’s client and counterparty communication to make certain all inquiries and requests are responded to efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with Client Services, Research and Operations to ensure that client needs are met.
Qualifications:
- 5 years work experience in financial services focusing on investments (private banking, buy-side analyst, client services, investment adviser or related role).
- An undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or related degree required.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Superb organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- You much be fully bi-lingual Spanish and English
