About the Role:

We are seeking a Credit Analyst for Credit Cards and Consumer Loans to lead the development, design, and enhancement of our consumer loans and credit card policies, procedures, and credit analysis. The ideal candidate will have background in financial services, with expertise in managing credit card analysis and implementing policies and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior and regulatory frameworks, as well as proficiency in data analysis related to loan applications and underwriting outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit strategies for consumer loans and credit cards that align with the bank’s business objectives.
• Design, review, and implement policies and procedures to ensure product competitiveness, compliance, and efficiency.
• Conduct detailed data analysis on a large volume of loan applications and underwriting results (approvals, rejections) to optimize risk assessment and product integrity.
• Oversee the automation of application processes to handle large volumes efficiently while maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and effective management.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate credit portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure full compliance with all current regulatory frameworks and actively stay updated on changes in consumer lending regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer lending products, including credit cards, and the associated regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a straightforward manner.
• Experience with data analysis is a must.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies is a plus.
