****Imports Coordinator****

Job Prupose: Facilitate import shipments, ensuring successful, timely, and compliant importation processes and Customs clearance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review import documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Customs brokers for timely shipment clearance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation.
• Create Airway Bills
• Maintain strong knowledge of US import entry processes and regulations.
• Communicate with clients regarding import and Customs issues.
• Troubleshoot Customs and other agency delays.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing and distribution of documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors.
• Stay current on U.S. Customs regulations through self-study and courses.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize processes.

Requirements:

• 3 years of related industry experience
• Experience with imports and Customs entry for air transportation.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheet development.
• Familiarity with HTS classifications and FDA-regulated products.
• Strong business acumen, judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

****Export Coordinator****

Job Purpose: To efficiently process each consignment to its final destination, prioritizing expedited routing to meet client specifications and uphold quality standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Revise all documentation provided by clients and internal departments.
• Confirm shipment readiness and obtain necessary consignment instructions.
• Define the best possible route for dispatching shipments to their final destinations.
• Condition shipments as required and update milestones in Maestro.
• Obtain airline bookings and consign MAWB as instructed.
• Coordinate drop-offs with Dispatch according to COT.
• Utilize Export Daily Schedule Report and update with departure details.
• Conduct physical checks of export paperwork to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in international exports, airline booking, and generating accurate export documentation.
• Experience liaising with customs brokers for import pre-alerts and clearance status.
• Air freight/freight forwarding experience.
• Familiarity with route leg completion and operations.
• Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends, handle live freight, and work in a warehouse environment.
