Ascendo Resources is Hiring a Junior Accountant Near Lone Tree, CO
Ascendo Resources is actively seeking a Junior Accountant for an immmediate, full-time, fully remote role!
Our client, a international retail company is located in the Lone Tree/Highland Ranch area. Candidates will be responsible for picking up invoices weekly at nearby PO box and must be local to Lone Tree/Highlands Ranch area.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of general ledger accounting experience and strong understanding of accounting principals.
Hours: Mon-Fri (7am - 4pm)
Pay Rate : $28/hr - $31/hr
Salary: $ 55-65K/year performance based annual bonus Retirement plan matching Dental/Vision/Health insurance
Job Duties:
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Collecting payments, charging accounts, collecting checks.
- Assist with implementation of new payment platform, switching to ACH from paper checks.
- Annual credit platform reminders.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Data entry, vendor payments, managing vendor inquiries.
- Handling 1099/1042 forms.
- Banking tasks: Recording bank movements, reconciling bank statements.
- Cash management: Generating reports to improve cash management.
- Assisting with month-end close process and ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in accounting, understanding of accounting principles.
- Manual-based processes understanding.
- BA degree in accounting or related field
- Strong communication skills for interactions with retailers and customers.
- Bilingual (English/French) plus, but not required
- Attention to detail.
- Excel proficiency including pivot tables.
