Ascendo Resources is a recruiting firm currently working with a food manufacturer located near the Swedesboro, NJ area. This role is full-time, permanent, and offers exciting benefits and growth!

We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to help create and complete daily production plans.

Some key responsibilities:

• Schedule daily/weekly production plan for all production lines based on open production orders and provide demand forecast
• Coordinate weekly capacity & labor plan within shared group
• Responsible for building and aligning 3 months forecast based on sales and marketing plan
• Work with marketing/sales to ensure new product launch volumes are properly planned
• Maintain accuracy scorecard based on planned versus actual; provide reasons why production was not met or has surpassed
• Communicate constraints/delays to sales, operations, production team, etc.
• Maintain postproduction reporting
• Must be able to pivot and make logical decisions within a changing environment
• Ability to calculate basic math equations, Ex. yields calculations
• Work cross-functionally with supply and production based on realistic forecast trends
• Perform other duties as assigned by management within scope and ability other duties as assigned

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelors degree in operations or a related industry
• Strong communication skills
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, calculations, etc)
• Power BI experience
• 3 years of Production Planning experience
