ASCENDO RESOURCES is Hiring a Recruiter (Temp) Near Clifton, NJ

Contract position covering vacation leave from 2/20 - 6/5

Summary: The Temporary Recruiter conducts full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for Property Management firm as well as partners with hiring managers to ensure quality candidate evaluation. The Temporary Recruiter maintains the HRIS talent acquisition data and maintains a best-in-class candidate experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

· Oversees and conducts full life cycle recruitment and hiring processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, guiding candidates and hiring managers through the interviewing, offer, and onboarding processes, and conducting reference checks.

· Identifies gaps in staffing and partners with hiring managers to create staffing solutions.

· Creates job descriptions and revises as necessary, based on needs of the business, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.

· Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the company's CSR and DEI initiatives as necessary.

· Partners with the People Operations Specialist to successfully integrate new hires into the Company.

· Works closely with the People Operations Specialist to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.

· Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.

· Develops and manages a candidate pool through a variety of creative sourcing techniques including: competitive information, social media, cold-calling, advertising, resume databases, organizational affiliations.

· Targets the most efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the job location, profile and qualifications required of the positions.

· Partners with the Digital and Social Media Marketing Manager to build the Woodmont brand and identify active and passive job seekers.

· Partners with internal hiring managers to ensure quality hires and competitive and equitable offers and actively communicates and updates the business groups as appropriate.

· Manages the integrity and compliance of the Paycom applicant tracking system.

· Ensures compliance with employment laws, fair employment practices, and compliance with the company’s EEO reporting.

· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to talent acquisition compliance.

· Ensures applicants complete all necessary steps prior to hiring such as having appropriate application and background check documentation and conducts reference checks.

· Responds to inquiries from employees, applicants and employers pertaining to talent acquisition and career opportunities.

· Partners with the People Division team members to provide support where needed, to new hire orientations and regular new hire follow-ups.

· Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
