The successful candidate will need to be local but will work on a generous hybrid schedule.

They specialize in providing tailored investment solutions to a diverse clientele, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to institutional investors.

Position Overview: They are seeking a strong technical accountant to join their team in a hybrid role, responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in the investment management industry. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations and will play a crucial part in managing day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Accounting & Compliance Manager position will assist with all internal and external financial reporting of the firm, including the maintenance and presentation of all portfolio accounting records, client billing, firm and fund payables, and management company accounting.
• This position is also in charge of the management and completion of the annual fund audits and tax return preparation.
• In addition, the position works closely with the operations team of the firm in designing and executing the regulatory compliance, investment mandate compliance, and SOC-audited operational programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• CPA designation strongly preferredpreferred.
• 2 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in the investment management industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in investment accounting software and systems (Bloomberg and QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
