We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, planning, and research, as well as a thorough understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

The Senior Tax Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s tax compliance, optimizing tax strategies, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Analyze financial statements and other documents to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors to manage tax audits and inquiries.
• Provide guidance and support on tax-related issues to various business units.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in tax compliance and reporting.
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of tax filings, research, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
