Strategic Pricing Manager

Purpose of Job:

Responsible for the financial and pricing expertise in the assigned channel as well as the execution and reporting of pricing strategies. The role will be the primary contact for pricing related issues in the assign channel for any field sales teams, internal teams, and Distributor partners.

Job Components:

• Lead implementation and the maintenance of pricing strategy, tools and systems
• Work cross functionally with internal and external partners to develop and implement channel specific pricing strategies to maximize sales growth. Engage sales team to develop corrective actions and/or drive decision making through profitability/ROI tools providing solutions to shift spending to higher return activities
• Supervise team performance and execution of channel specific strategies
• Prepare & analyze ad-hoc and scheduled pricing quotes and adjustments to provide financial insights to leadership
• Provide consultative solutions and recommendations to cross functional teams in order to drive profitable results
• Collaborate with strategic pricing and corporate finance team on price changes and divisional finance impact
• Work cross functionally to improve slow/arduous processes and assist with automation of repetitive tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related analytical accounting or finance discipline
• 2 years in business or financial analyst role preferred
• Ability to understand and extract findings from complex data structures within pricing programs
• Must have a working knowledge of multiple functions within the consumer products industry
• Ability to thrive in a processes-oriented environment and provide guidance on best practices and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and strategic mind – organized and structured in approach. Ability to assess complex business environment and formulate ideas to create value. Able to dissect the key elements of a business situation and distil into a manageable framework
• Pragmatic and levelheaded, even in times of disagreement and debate – collaborative approach
• Extremely proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook)
• Experience with SQL and Visualization Tools
• Experience with Price Modelling
• Experience with Pricedex software is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
