**Responsibilities**

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is looking for an Inpatient Cardiology APP (36 hour per week) to join the team at our Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital location.

**Position Highlights:**

(3) 12-hr shifts (7am - 7pm Friday - Sunday

Full time benefits including (Health, Dental, Vision, and Retirement)

Rounding on patients with providers at Ascension Saint Thomas West

Training is offered for the right candidate.

Cardiology experience is preferred in a inpatient setting

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is the largest cardiovascular program in the region, offering access to over 80 cardiac specialists and subspecialists practicing at 45 locations throughout Middle TN and Southern KY. When advanced care is needed the experienced teams at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown, West and Rutherford are ready to care for you.

Each year, we provide care to more than 7,000 heart failure patients using evidence-based care plans.

Cardiac surgery is offered at both Ascension Saint Thomas West and Rutherford.

With 541 licensed beds, this hospital provides adult specialty care to the more than two million residents of Middle Tennessee, Southwestern Kentucky and Northern Alabama.

Saint Thomas and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery.

**Requirements**

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

**Required Credential(s):**

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

**Education:**

Master's degree of Nursing required.
