Job Description :
The Hotel Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
This includes but is not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for responding to guest requests for repairs and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to guest requests for repairs and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored
- Assist with the implementation of preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist with the coordination of outside contractors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
