Ascent Resources is Hiring an Accountant I Near Oklahoma City, OK
Ascent Resources is seeking an entry level Accountant I responsible for correct and timely coding of accounting invoices. This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and will report to the Manager - Accounts Payable.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and code invoices to appropriate GL accounts
- Communicate with vendor AR departments in order to facilitate effective work flows and accurate invoicing
- Conduct account research and resolution
- Perform re-class entries
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- 10-key proficient
- Strong Outlook and Excel skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Team builder, encourager, and collaborator
- Overall flexibility to accomplish departmental goals
- Willing and able to work overtime if needed
Minimum Requirements:
- In lieu of degree, 5 years of AP experience
- Ambition to grow within the department
- Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years of experience
