Description:

Are you a dynamic and self-motivated individual who loves connecting with people and fostering community relationships? We're seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in engaging with local schools, organizing events, reaching out to the community, and supporting our recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Serve as a liaison with local educational institutions such as high schools, community colleges, and universities, fostering partnerships and outreach.
  • Plan, organize, and execute engagement initiatives including workshops and programs aimed at strengthening community relationships.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training students.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various platforms to enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and managing applicant tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the recruiting team to ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Support the development of job postings, screen resumes, and conduct initial candidate assessments.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in community and business engagement, including event coordination and social media management.
  • 2 years of experience in recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in recruitment tools and techniques, including social media and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
