Job Responsibilities: 

• Work with manufacturing and testing operations for portions of technical documents as needed to support the proposal process
• Provide labor estimates, models and may provide expertise on technical calls to support the manufacturing client proposal process
• Provide inputs on behalf of manufacturing to support the business’s manufacturing client intake process
• Ability to successfully analyze and complete capacity planning estimates and models to support the manufacturing client proposal process
• Collaborate with applications team, management, finance and other departments, as needed in support of the proposal process
• Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Quotation or Information (RFQ or RFIs) from external clients
• Ensure consistency, quality, completeness and timeliness of all submissions to clients, both internal and external
• Willingness and ability to conform to client information on different technologies

Experience: 

• Technical knowledge of assembly machinery processes and industry preferred techniques.
• Specific knowledge of assembly machinery, as to powertrain assembly, axle and transmission assembly.
• Experienced with AutoCad and or Solidworks is preferable.
• The ability to create simple assembly line layouts, and visual machine concepts.
