To conduct college technology courses in support of the Welding Technology program and other related programs.

1. Weld flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead;
2. Weld 6" pipe in various.
positions using multiple processes;
3. Cutting with a variety of processes including plasma-arc, oxy-fuel, and saws.
4. Preparing plate, structural, and pipe materials for welding;
5. Shop safety;
6. Fabrication.

1. AAS degree in Welding;
2. Two years relevant work experience in Utility, Chemical, Fuel, or Sanitary Pipe Welding;
3. Qualified (or able to qualify) on 6" Carbon Steel Pipe In 6 G position utilizing SMAW process.
4. Qualified (or able to qualify) on 6" Carbon Steel Pipe in 6 G position utilizing GTAW process.

1. Bachelor’s degree;
2. Two years of teaching post-secondary experience;
3. AWS CWI and/or CWE certification.
