The emphasis of this position is end user technical support RESPONSIBILITY: Performs duties with moderate supervision. Work involves analysis of technical requirements, and application of district policies and procedures. Work is characterized by less frequent milestones, and moderately independent decision-making to reach state objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform all requirements in Level I
Install, maintain, and support computers and software on desktop computers
Install, maintain, and support other hardware, software, and information services, including: Directory, mail, and file servers; Storage, imaging, and backup solutions; and custom applications
Develop innovative documentation and instruction for staff in effective use of software and hardware
While working collaboratively with others, make independent decisions within ASD established policies and procedures
MINIMUM PREREQUISITES:
High School diploma or equivalent
A or MCP Certificate preferred
Valid Oregon Driver's license
Three years demonstrated competence providing technical assistance
Performance at Level 1 for at least one year
Demonstrated capabilities of Level II
The equivalent combination of experience, training, certification, education or degree that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be used as an alternative to prerequisites.
