Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our school as the Varsity Girls' Archery Coach. This coaching position involves leading and mentoring our varsity-level archery team, fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in archery coaching or competitive shooting, along with a commitment to promoting the growth and success of young athletes.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement practice plans focused on archery technique, form, and mental discipline.
• Organize and supervise team practices, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Provide individualized coaching to improve athletes' shooting abilities and overall performance.
• Coordinate and attend all varsity-level competitions, including tournaments and matches.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, responsibility, and camaraderie.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, school administration, and other coaches.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure proper equipment maintenance and usage.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience coaching archery or competitive shooting, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of archery techniques, equipment, and competition rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes to achieve their best.
• Organizational skills to manage team schedules, logistics, and competition entries.
• Commitment to promoting sportsmanship and character development through athletics.

Requirements:

• Background check and compliance with school district policies.
• Adherence to all applicable league and state athletic association regulations.
• Availability for afternoon practices and weekend competitions during the archery season.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience coaching high school varsity athletes in archery.
• Certification from a recognized archery coaching program.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
