Job Title: Associate Accountant
Duration: 06 Months (Estimated Start: 7/15/2024, Estimated End: 1/31/2025)
Location: Des Moines, IA 50392
Pay Rate Range: $20/hr - $22/hr
Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required.
- CPA or other applicable certifications preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting month-end close activities.
- Performing basic accounting analysis and reporting of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or other regulatory guidance.
- Calculating routine journal entries and providing accurate and timely financial submissions.
- Reconciling accounts and preparing financial data for inclusion in the financial control process.
- Reporting to external and internal stakeholders.
