ASM Global is Hiring a Sales and Partnerships Manager Near Dubuque, IA

Major Responsibilities
  • Execute sponsorships and corporate partnerships
  • Assists in developing sales plan and providing monthly updates
  • Prospect, develop and close new sales relationships, and maintain a sales database
  • Maintain relationships with current partners as well as develop and close renewals on existing contracts
  • Assist in booking private events and meeting rooms
  • Respond to incoming sales leads
  • Effective collaboration with the Marketing Department
  • Provides reports to the Finance Department and Box Office
  • Create customized proposals for sponsorships and corporate partnerships
  • Work as needed with Marketing staff and Finance for a smooth transition of sales accounts
  • Maintain sales files with accurate information, including, but not limited to, leads, proposals, correspondence, etc.
  • Conduct and assist on-site visits with prospective clients
  • Work events and other networking opportunities as assigned
  • Follow up with clients during the process of each sales meeting/presentation to gauge interest and satisfaction
  • Routinely update sales presentations
  • Assist in the creation of copy for sales collateral, ads, E-blasts, etc.
  • Participate in hospitality-related events and associations to promote sales programs
  • Share in the responsibilities of coordinating and executing company hosted events
  • Special projects as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EducationEducation and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of four (4) years of sales experience, preferably in sponsorship sales
  • Sales/Guest Service/Customer Service experience (face to face interaction) required
  • Knowledge in MS Windows apps (Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Archtics ticketing platform a plus
  • Adobe Suite experience a plus
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and ensure completion and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work and function both independently and as a team member
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to physically move around the facility
