Job Description

Summary 
The Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator is responsible for the positive candidate experience at Limelight Hotels for job seekers who wish to work at our hotels. This position is the first contact for many of our new employees and seeks to provide the match between candidate and perfect career path. This role is designed for detail orientated, computer savvy individuals that have a passion for our product and the locations in which we operate. The position provides support to our HR and Talent Acquisition Teams. The position mainly supports our Limelight Hotels in Aspen, Snowmass, Denver, and Ketchum as well as our Denver corporate office.

Essential Job Functions 
• Responsible for screening candidates who apply for high volume positions via MS Teams Video Call screening process 
• Review job seeker information contained within Smart Recruiters (ATS) and assess knowledge, skills, and abilities in comparison to job requirements 
• Cross checks different technology platforms including Kronos to ensure employee status and detailed record keeping 
• Provide a primary point of contact for candidates interested in jobs at our hotels and acts as an advisor to candidates on how to achieve short- and long-term career goals
• Utilize ATS to maintain candidate records and data, including reporting to ensure recruiting progress
• Ensures regular communication with HR & hiring managers on progress of recruitment for roles, including updates on percentage staffed and closing feedback loops 
• Troubleshoots and problem solves any issues as it relates to established service level agreements through positive relationships and escalation
• Direct hire candidates into Aspen Hospitality per assigned departments 
• Assists with training hiring managers on ATS use and develops ways to hold them accountable to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 
• Assist with creative sourcing of candidates through a variety of channels including internet, cold calling, networking, referrals, and social networks 
• Assist with coordination of job fairs, community events and the TA calendar of events 
• Assist with & may be required to oversee TA programs and projects such as housing
• Work in conjunction with the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure new hire data entry is competed accurately and timely
• Assist with the processing work visas to include completing immigration documents, writing training plans and communication with visa agencies
• Assists in new hire onboarding program, policy overviews, and completion of new hire paperwork, assisting employees with our systems and answering and questions they may have
• Assist with New Employee Orientation, as a presenter, as needed at all hotel properties
• Provide HR Office coverage and greet employees/applicants as they enter the office in absence of HR Coordinator
• Become proficient in Kronos, MS Office, SmartRecruiters, Canva and other company used technology 
• Assist HR and update employee files, issue timecards, name tags, ski pass cards and lockers timely in absence of HR Coordinator
• Coordination of all internal seasonal employee transfers and promotions 
• Assist in planning and execution social functions for managers and employees
• Responsible for answering phones, taking messages, verifying employment etc.
• Field employee questions regarding benefits and insurance and direct them to the appropriate person for the correct answer
• Provide additional support to various hotel departments, as requested and needed
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree a plus 
• Minimum one year experience in a professional environment or working in a fast-paced, highly seasonal resort environment
• Solid English communication skills required, ability to communicate in other languages a plus 
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google product suites required 
• Ability to handle confidential related information and be on a computer and phone the majority of the workday required 
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems preferred 

Additional Information

Supervision Given and Received 
Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
Received: Works under direct supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available. 
 
Work Environment and Physical Demands 
• Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
• No adverse or hazardous conditions 
• Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
