Aspen Valley Hospital is Hiring a Medical Technologist Near Aspen, CO

We are currently hiring for a full-tome MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN - MLT to work day shifts within our Clinical Laboratory.

Compensation Range:

$37.74 - 60.38 per hour 

Non Exempt

Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour! 

Compensation package is based on your specific qualifications for the role.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a closely related field.
  • Current and unrestricted MLT certification (ASCP or AMT).
  • Successful completion of a supervised one year clinical internship.

Position Overview:

Under supervision, the Medical Lab Technician performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs various microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, or bacteriologic assays according to established standards. Calibrates and operates all instruments and equipment according to preventive maintenance schedule.
