Job Title: Adaptive Programming Manager
Location: Hybrid, Asphalt Green (Upper East Side and Battery Park City)

Asphalt Green is seeking a dynamic, visionary Adaptive Programming Manager to join our team and lead the charge in making our community more accessible for all abilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Special Education, Disability Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3 years in inclusive programming, preferably in a leadership role.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills in managing staff, coordinating programs, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Program Development: Experience with intake processes and developing individualized plans for participants, ensuring personalized support and success.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee and Manage Programming: Oversee and manage adaptive programming across all departments, ensuring that all offerings are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to participant needs. This includes working closely with staff on content, scheduling, and staffing.
- Participant and Family Engagement: Serve as the main contact for participants and families, conducting assessments, coordinating a streamlined intake process, and developing individualized plans that support each participant’s goals and needs.
- Program Coordination and Documentation: Coordinate intake processes and ensure accurate records and documentation are maintained for all participants, ensuring a personalized and organized approach to care and support.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of dedicated instructors, coaching classes and activities as needed, and providing ongoing support to ensure program quality and staff development.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Collaborate with other departments, the Director of Adaptive Programming, and external partners to grow our programming, ensuring we remain at the forefront of inclusive fitness and sports. Continuously assess and improve offerings to meet evolving community needs.
