Asphalt Green is Hiring an Assistant Volleyball Coach Near Manhattan, NY
Assistant coaches will help primarily with player development and will gain valuable experience through leading technical training, head coach mentoring, and by attending coaching development sessions.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have played volleyball at a competitive level.
- Coaching Experience at either the club, high school, or collegiate level.
- Must have excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with coaches, players, and families.
- Must become certified in USAV/GEVA mandated USOC SafeSport & IMPACT requirements.
- Must have availability for the following schedule:
- Club Tryouts
- (August 12th – August 15th)
- Mondays & Thursdays – between 3:45pm – 6:00pm
- (August 12th – August 15th)
- Mondays & Thursdays – between 6:45pm – 8:30pm
- Team Training (September – June)*
- Mondays & Thursdays – between 6:45pm – 8:30pm
- Saturdays for one hour and 45 minutes– between 1:15pm – 7:30pm
- Tournament Schedule (January – June)
- Scheduled Weekends (including holidays)
Compensation$3,290 stipend for 2024-2025 season Assistant Coaches. Additional coaching hours available at $20-25/hr., commensurate with experience.
