Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a PATIENT CARE TECH to join our team!

The Patient Care Technician is a memberof the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Services Providers and reports directly to the Emergency Services Director.

Serves all patient populations while exemplifying the Services Excellence Standards.

HOURS : Part Time or .6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period. Day shift.

Experience / Qualifications

• Current EMT licensure or CNA licensure.
• Will complete BLS prior to completion of orientation or within the first 90 days.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering treatments and providing related emergency patient care services.
• Understanding of standard techniques used in providing professional services and caring for equipment and supplies.
• Has working knowledge of aseptic techniques.
• Basic computer / word processing knowledge.
• Ability to use standard office equipment to include fax machine and copy machine.
• Legible writing required.
• Team oriented, service excellence / customer focused with excellent communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks under a variety of situations.
• Establishes and maintains good rapport and working relationships to foster interdepartmental communications, necessary for the delivery of patient care.
