Job Description
- Coordinate with team members to execute project scope, schedules, and budgets in conformance with the project and customer requirements

- Minimize project delays by providing technical review and recommendations when requested within predetermined timeframes.
- Research codes, guidance, policies, procedures, processes, criteria, and Federal law and regulations and provide sound technical recommendations both verbally and in writing.
- Apply innovative technical principles, practices and theories to the resolution of technical issues.
- Coordinate with the Government client, NAVFAC team members, leadership, project stakeholders, and various regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, make recommendations based on project requirements, coordinate workflow processes, schedule/coordinate plans of actions and milestones (POAMs) and effectively communicate findings to project personnel.
- Ensure compliance with customer and RFP requirements. This will include reviewing technical reports, RFIs, designs, design changes, project deliverables, submittals, cost proposals, and other related engineering documents.
- Provide technical support for the review of the commissioning plan, design and construction submittals, construction field activities, and field inspections.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and will be required to obtain a DOD SECRET Clearance.
- Must hold a valid, current driver's license.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university (Professional Engineering License is preferred).
- Six (6) years of Design Management experience and/or Design experience performing the following tasks:
- Design calculations for sizing electrical services, service transformers, and secondary power distribution systems.
- Calculations to size overcurrent devices, disconnect switches, and branch circuits and feeders.
- Providing Lighting calculations, lighting layouts and specifying light fixtures.
- Developing drawings using AutoCAD and editing product specifications.
- Well versed in the National Electric Code.
- Demonstrated knowledge of broad-based Engineering principles and specific experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Sound understanding of technical concepts, principles and practices applicable to multi-disciplined engineering project design.
- Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and in briefing management personnel.
- Microsoft® Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), AutoCad and/or Revit.
- Ability to adapt to new software such as eCMS, Microsoft® Teams and Zoom as needed.
