ASRC Federal is Hiring a Carpenter Near Charleston, SC
- Design and install cabinets, shelves, drywall, and insulation
- Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
- Paint structures and equipment.
- Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks
- Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
- Hang doors and install door locks.
- Consult other construction professionals to ensure the best possible results and the final product
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, nail guns, chisels, and sanders
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Install wooden structures such as roofing framers, joists, partitions, rafters, and stud work
- Build, erect, install, and repair forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Must have 2 years of recent experience as a Carpenter
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving history and able to operate a vehicle.
- Must be able to push, pull and/or lift 70 lbs.
- Clear and effective written and communication skills
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.
